Plotcebo Announces Ghetto Theatre™
Plotcebo fan rejoices with release of sketchy, internet films
PLOTCEBO HEADQUARTERS, Mo. (Sept. 19, 2002)--In a bold,
unexpected move, Plotcebo Productions unveiled today a new
distribution method for their films: Ghetto Theatre™.
With Ghetto Theatre™, interested parties with reasonable
internet connectivity will be able to enjoy Plotcebo films
from the comfort of their own computer.
Although internet films are nothing new to most people, the
fact that Plotcebo Productions slopped together enough
resources and time to make it happen is. What comes as
shocking to most visitors is the fact that the Plotcebo webpage
(www.plotcebo.org)
has only one completed page despite having been online for
nearly two years. By announcing the Ghetto Theatre™
without first polishing the rest of the web presence is fairly
questionable.
"We just need to get our movies up on the web," says John
Marble, director of "Reduced Fat Karate Bastards 2". He went
on describing his assurance that people will enjoy the films
while completing his third Tricky in a row. "I mean, these
movies are at least 3.72 times better than most of the crap
[movies] you find on the net."
Thaddeus Parkinson, technical director for Plotcebo
Productions, was ashamed at their previous exposure.
"We've actually had a streaming server serving up 'RFKB2'
for years, but without the Ghetto Theatre™, nobody
could remember where it was." Thaddeus also blamed sun spots
and Les Resistance for their lack of success.
In true Plotcebo fashion, all that can be found at the Ghetto
Theatre™ at the time of this release is "Reduced Fat
Karate Bastards 2". Two versions of the film are posted, both
in QuickTime format, for different bandwidth needs. More
titles and other formats are expected to be released in the
coming weeks or years, and web surfers are encouraged to visit
frequently.
